Covid Update: Booking With Us

Applicable for all bookings confirmed after 25/01/2021 with a departure date in 2021.

If you’re planning a long-awaited holiday with us, we want to make sure that you can book with peace of mind. That’s why we want to make it as clear as possible exactly what you can expect from us if your plans are disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, including our refund promise if we have to cancel your trip.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to helping you plan your next adventure!

Balance due dates
All bookings will now have a balance due date of 4 weeks (28 days) before departure, instead of the standard 14 weeks. If at the time of your balance being due, your holiday is in doubt due to Covid, we will endevour to push back your due date and will only ask for your balance if we know your holiday is definitely going ahead.

Cancellations by us due to Covid-19
If we are forced to cancel your holiday because the airline has cancelled your flights, we will offer you a full refund on your trip. Of course, you can also move your trip to a later date or take a credit voucher which can be used as part payment for a future holiday (taken within 12 months).

In the event that we are prevented from performing your holiday contract due to Covid-19, for example if the destination goes into lockdown and/or they are not accepting visitors from the UK and we are no longer able to provide your holiday, we will comply with our obligations as a package organiser under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. We will therefore fully refund.

At least 28 days before departure, you can transfer your booking to a later date. We won’t charge an amendment fee for this but there may be costs incurred, such as from amending the flights or hotel price changes. We will confirm these costs by email.

Travel Insurance
There are many travel insurance providers who now offer specific Covid-19 insurance to cover you for circumstances such as having to cancel your trip because you or one of your travelling companions has the virus or is required to self-isolate. It is a condition of booking with us that you have suitable travel insurance. We can provide any supporting documentation you may need in order to make a claim.

Travel Trust Association Your money is protected by the Travel Trust Association and can only be used to pay for elements of your booking. You can find out more about how this works on our About Us page.

What happens if I want to cancel? If your flights is still operating and the FCDO is advising against travel to your destination, we are unfortunately unable to refund your deposit. Of course, you can also move your trip to a later date.

Ouside these circumstances, if you choose to cancel your booking, then our normal terms and conditions will apply.

We always strive to be as helpful as we possibly can be so you may be able to move your booking to a later date or take a credit voucher for the cost of your trip, minus any non-refundable elements which we are unable to retrieve.
