Background to Dubrovnik: Crowned the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ for its sheer beauty, Dubrovnik will no doubt leave you in awe. The walled old town is home to a wealth of history and culture including numerous churches and museums. We recommend a walk round the city walls and to go up Mount Srd via the cable car to give you a new perspective to the city. Dubrovnik is also great for day trips, such as the Mljet National Park and the wooded island of Lokrum.

Background to Sipan: An hour from Dubrovnik lies the beautiful island of Sipan. This peaceful and relaxing island is the largest of the 12 islands that make up the Elaphiti archipelago. Sipan boasts Roman villa remains, a 15th century Gothic duke’s palace, hidden beach coves and two fine boutique hotels. Come to Sipan to unwind, recuperate and let life gently pass you by. Both Sudurad and Sipanska Luka are true cliches of traditional Croatian fishing villages, occupied by friendly and boast wonderful restaurants serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

Day 4 - Dubrovnik: Day Trip Idea - Mljet National Park
