Itinerary
The day trips on this itinerary are just suggestions and not included in the price. You are free to spend your time however you wish in each destination. We would be more than happy to advise you on what to see and do, and how best to do it.
Day 1 - Split - Explore the Old Town:
Arrive at Split Airport, where a private transfer will meet you in arrivals and take you directly to your hotel in Split. We recommended getting your bearings in this fabulous city by exploring Split's UNESCO protected Roman Diocletian Palace old town. After a morning sightseeing, take a break; relax by heading to the nearby beach, and soak up that Adriatic sun.
Day 2 - Split: Day Trip Idea - Krka National Park
Covering 142 square metres, this is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s famous for its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk, a collection of 17 waterfalls that range in height of 45 metres. Easily accessible by coach or an organised excursion, it's a perfect day trip from Split
Day 3 - Split: Day Trip Idea - Trogir
Another of Croatia’s UNESCO sites, Trogir is a very picturesque town, not far from Split, offering a rich history, plenty of culture and excellent food. This historic town evolved within its medieval city walls, on a small island connected by bridges to both the mainland and the island of Ciovo. Trogir is very easy to get to from Split. There are regular coach services from the main bus station throughout the day and in summer there’s also a passenger ferry that takes around one hour.
Day 4 - Split to Brac
After check out of your hotel, make your way to Split ferry port and take the catamaran (fast ferry) to Bol or ferry to Supetar. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel. Check in and spend the rest of your day relaxing by the pool or beach.
Day 5 - Brac - Day Trip Idea: Explore the Island
The island boasts an array of stunning villages including Postira, Pucisca and Lovrecina, offering tranquil retreats amidst beautiful historical settings. These charming spots are just waiting to be explored, adding that extra little something to an already perfect escape. It’s easy to get to these little havens from Supetar, as all buses on Brac start and end in Supetar and are operated by Autotrans. From Bol, we recommend visiting Supetar by bus or hire a car for the day to see the island as a whole.
Day 6 - Brac
Spend the day catching up some R&R. Have some me time on the beach or by the pool reading that booking you've been meaning to start
Day 7 - Brac: Day Trip Idea - Korcula
Renowned for being the reputed birthplace of Marco Polo, Korcula offers a rich history and excellent beaches. Its fascinating Old Town is of course a little smaller than Dubrovnik’s but is still a wonderful place to explore. You can easily get to Korcula from Bol, Brac, by catamaran which takes around 1hr 50mins (catamaran runs everyday from 25.5 to 3.10).
Day 8 - Brac: Fly home
It’s time to depart from what we hope has been a fascinating and enjoyable holiday. Make your way back to Split by catamaran or ferry, then your private transfer will pick you up and take you to the airport in time for your flight.
