What is a Multi-centre holiday?

One of the best ways to get the most out of your holiday is to visit more than one location, this is the basic principle of a multi-centre holiday.

As life's pressures and commitments continue to increase, people are wanting to get the most out of their holiday. As such, a great way to explore a country (or countries) is to visit multiple areas. People may want to start with a city exploring the sights it offers, followed by a period of relaxation, by the beach for example. A multi-centre holiday might incorporation two, three, four or even more destinations. A holiday that involves staying at two destinations is commonly known as a Twin Centre Holiday. We offer a range of multi-centre holiday options visiting Croatia and Montenegro.

We're great believers that a multi-centre holiday can bring a range of benefits:
  • Different holiday types in one trip - Croatia for example offers a wide range of settings and sights, so one day you could be exploring the magnificent old towns, the next day marvel at the awe-inspiring waterfalls in a national park and then following day, soaking up the sun on the beach. A multi-centre holiday is ideal for those wanting to not just sit by the pool for a week or two!
  • Great for children and teens - Even children can get bored of the same week or two sat on the beach. A two or three destination holiday can really bring a child out of their shell, enriching them with new sights, sounds and experiences.
  • Diverse cuisine - Every area in the Balkans has their own culinary specialities, so what better way than to experience them. Coastal areas such as Dubrovnik, may prefer serve a wide range of fish dishes, whilst the Istrian region including towns like Rovinj offer more Italian themes, whilst inner Croatia such as the Plitvice Lakes and Zagreb opt for slow cooked cuisine.
  • Cheaper airfares - some airlines such as Easyjet and Thomas Cook offer multi-leg flights, i.e. going into one airport and out of another, which is cheaper than booking two single one-way flights.
