Premium Island Wonder Cruise

Spend seven unforgettable days exploring the hidden gems of Croatia that tourists don’t usually get to see on this 7 night Island Wonder Cruise.

Depart from Opatija to the beautiful island of Krk, famous for its rugged terrain and stunning beaches. Next you’ll sail to Rab, an island rich in history. Zadar is your next port of call with a swim stop en route off the tiny island of Maun. You’ll then find peace and serenity on the islands of Molat or Olib, before heading to Losinj, famed for its clear waters and lush pine trees.  After more swimming you’ll head to Cres, an island covered in oak and pine trees as well as vineyards and olive plantations. Opatija is your last port of call offering a guided tour in this town steeped in culture.

The Ship

 

There are two categories of ship for this cruise; Premium and Premium Superior

Premium ships are steel hulled with more of a traditional look and feel. The ships measure 29 to 35 meters in length. 
 
Premium Superior ships are recently built and are similar to the deluxe category but smaller in size at around 38 to 41 metres in length. 
 
Cabins: Premium vessels feature air-conditioned en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, safety deposit box, and hair dryer. Cabins are 12 to 15 m2 in size depending on the vessel.
 
There are two types of cabin; upper/ on deck and lower deck. On Deck Cabins can be situated on the main deck (deck on which you step on as you embark the ship) and on upper deck (deck on top of the main deck). Itinerary

 

Key: (B) = Breakfast, (L) = Lunch, (D) = Dinner, (CD) = Captain's Dinner

Day 1 - Opatija - Krk

Depart from Opatija harbour at 13:00. Lunch on-board, en route to Krk, with a swim stop (if weather permits) in the crystal clear waters. Arriving at Krk you’ll have time to explore this stunning town full of interesting history and culture. Overnight in Krk. (L)

Day 2 - Krk - Rab

Start the day with breakfast on board before continuing to Rab, the “island of love”. The small town of Rab is steeped in cultural sights including medieval walls, Romanesque church towers, palaces, stone streets and ancient facades. Guided tour included for premium superior category. Overnight in Rab. (B, L)

Day 3 - Rab - Zadar

After breakfast in Rab, cruise along the island of Pag with a swim stop on the tiny island Maun, and continue to towards Zadar. Take the guided tour of the city with sites including the church of St. Donatus, the Sea Organ and the famous Sun Salutation installation. Overnight in Zadar. (B, L).

Day 4 - Zadar - Molat/ Olib

Early departure for Island Molat or Olib (depending on available harbour space). Both islands are part of the Zadar archipelago and guarantee a relaxed atmosphere. Then we enjoy the special Captain's Dinner on-board. (B, L, CD)

Day 5 - Molat/ Olib - Ilovik - Mali Losinj

After breakfast and a morning swim, sail to the island of flowers called Ilovik. Enjoy lunch on-board then head to Mali Losinj, a popular island due to its abundance of pine trees and clear waters. Enjoy a walk along with harbour or visit nearby Veli Losinj. Overnight in Mali Losinj. (B, L)

Day 6 - Mali Losinj - Cres

After a morning swim you will leave for the island of Cres. This long and narrow island is covered with oak, beach and pine forests as well as vineyards and olive tree plantations. The night is spent in the medieval town of Cres. Overnight in Cres. (B, L)

Day 7 - Cres - Opatija

After breakfast leave for Opatija. En route you have the opportunity to enjoy magnificent views of the famous Opatija Riviera. Arrival in the late afternoon. A guided tour of Opatija is included for premium superior category where you can explore the town’s rich and interesting history. Excellent seafood restaurants are located in the town. Overnight in Opatija. (B, L)

Day 8 - Opatija

After breakfast, it’s time to depart from what we hope has been a fascinating and enjoyable cruise. Check out at 9am. (B)

2019 Pricing

 

Price is per person and based upon two people sharing a cabin. Price includes guided tour/s listed within the itinerary. Flights are at an additional fee. There is a 40 Euro charge per person, payable at check in for Visitor Tax and Port Fees.
