Sample Itinerary: * 4 nights in Dubrovnik * 3 nights in Hvar * 3 nights in Split
A truly exciting Island Hopping experience, taking in three of the best destinations Croatia has to offer.
SAMPLE ITINERARY: Start your three-centre holiday in Dubrovnik, crowned the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ for its beauty which will no doubt leave you in awe. A private airport transfer will whisk you to your chosen hotel. You’ll have lots of time to explore the Old Town, home to a wealth of culture, sights and sounds. Visit Mljet National Park for stunning scenery and go up nearby Mount Srd by cable car for breath-taking views of the city.
Next you’ll take the catamaran to Hvar, officially the sunniest place in Croatia. Explore the fascinating town and island by day then eat out at one of the stylish restaurants by night. Your last destination is Split, just a short catamaran ride from Hvar. Home to the UNESCO protected Roman Diocletian Palace, this town is great to spend a few days exploring and acting as a base to visit nearby towns such as Trogir and Omis. End your holiday with another private transfer from your Split hotel to the airport in time to fly back to the UK.

Please note that the price does not include the catamaran between Dubrovnik and Hvar Town. In 2016 the timetable is yet to be released, however we expect it to run every day between 1 June and 25 September, tickets are around £18 per person. In May and October this catamaran should run 3-4 times a week. Outside these months you would need to take a coach to Split and then a catamaran/ferry to Hvar (or vice versa). The catamaran from Hvar to Split takes 1 hour, departs up to 5 times a day and costs around £7 per person. A slower (2 hour) car ferry also runs between Split and Stari Grad (15 minute from Hvar Town). Car Hire is an optional alternative. We would be more than happy to provide you with all the details you would need in terms of getting between each of the destinations.
Price Guide by season:
Please note this is a rough guide based on booking at least 20 weeks in advance. Air fares usually increase considerably nearer to the departure date. Other hotels are available of varying star rating and price. All holidays from Balkan Escape are tailor-made. The itinerary on this page is just a suggestion.
