Getting to and from Zadar by Air

Zadar does have it’s own airport however only Ryanair fly from UK. The nearest alternative airport to Zadar is Split, with a transfer time of around an hour and 30 minutes (by car). Regular summer flights from the UK include:

  • London Gatwick/ Stansted
  • Birmingham
  • Bristol
  • Leeds Bradford
  • Manchester

There are no flights outside the summer season from the UK.

Getting from Zadar Airport to Zadar

Zadar airport is located around 11 km south east of the city. An airport bus service meets every flight and first drops passengers off at Zadar Bus Station and then under the city walls on the road “Liburnska Obala”.

Getting from Split Airport to Zadar

The easiest option is to take a private transfer from the airport to Zadar. If you’re on a budget, then you can take the local bus or quick taxi to Trogir, where you’ll then be able to take one of the very regular buses from Trogir to Zadar.
