Getting to, from and around Brac

Getting to and from Brac by Air

The nearest airport to Brac is Split, with a transfer time of around an hour and 45 minutes by car (see below for more information). Regular summer flights from the UK include:

  • London Gatwick/ Stansted
  • Birmingham
  • Bristol
  • Leeds Bradford
  • Manchester

There are no flights outside the summer season from the UK.

Getting from Split Airport to Brac

Brac can be easily reached from Split Airport. You first need to get to Split’s Ferry Port, which is located in the centre of the city. Split can be easily reached by either bus or taxi. There are two Airport Shuttle Bus operators, Zele and Pleso Prijevoz. Tickets are around £4 and can be purchased on board. The bus goes directly to Split’s ferry port and takes around 40 minutes. For buses back to the airport, the service departs from the road “Obala Lazareta”. If time is tight, do not rely on the airport bus service. We would recommend a taxi instead.

From Split ferry port, you can then reach one of three towns on Brac; Supetar, Bol and Milna. See “Getting there by boat” on this page for more information.
